Hi, friend! Do you know the difference between the Eau De Toilette, Eau De Perfume, Eau De Cologne, and Perfume? For some reasons, I used to think that “Eau de Perfume” lasts longer than “Perfume”. Indeed, this is confusing.

The Power of Perfumes

Guess what? Most of us buy Eau De Perfumes all the time, and we never know! Besides, even when we do know, we often don’t pay attention! Not only that, we also always use the most practical perfume, which can be used even on our hair, as it is medium strong. In fact, most bottles of perfume only have 20% of perfume. A perfume is strong if it has 40% perfume content. This means that this perfume can last for a long time. Even after you shower and wash your clothes, you can still smell it. How profound is that?!

Different Perfumes for Different Seasons

I like to use different fragrances in every season. In a forever summer “Dubai”, I use 2-3 types of perfumes during the year. This year, I used Christian Dior Addict Eau De Perfume 100ML (the dark blue bottle) in Spring & Summer and Tom Ford Violet Blonde Eau De Perfume 100ML in Winter.

For some of you, Dior Addict (the dark blue bottle) might be too strong. Therefore, you might want to try it on your skin and wear it for couple of hours before buying it. You have to see how this smell can really sit on you. For me, Dior Addict is a little strong for the first hour, but later, it becomes sweeter. However, at the end of the day, I don’t smell the same as the perfume. In contrast, my friends can still smell it, and they complement that it really is a nice odor.

In addition, Tom Ford is a perfume that I cannot live without. It must be always there available on my shelf. I’m basically emotionally attached to it. You know, good memories.

Last Fall, I fell for (CD – Christian Dior) Miss Dior – “Blooming Bouquet”. The sweet smell of flowers gives you the feeling of walking on a Flower Garden surrounded by gorgeous flowers. This smell makes me feel very delicate and feminine.

Moreover, Chanel 5 is my new obsession. The smell of this perfume is really amazing. However, what made me fall in love more deeply with this perfume is the brand’s commercials. They just make me feel so Special and Superior. This Chanel 5 has achieved such a high level of vision with proudness and beauty. You know me and you don’t. Chanel number five.

I used to be so interested in discovering more about perfumes as all brands have their own touch to fragrances. Each year, I discover a new me as I spray different types of perfume. YSL Black Opium, for one, has a sweetness that doesn’t make you feel like enough is enough. It just keeps me in that level of joy and makes me feel secured that I smell so good throughout the day. Even in the hot days of summer, you can smell good every time.
