  2. Top 15 Spa Treatments for the Summer

As we head into the balmier months of summer, our thoughts naturally start to turn to those beauty rituals that keep us looking our finest and freshest throughout the season. There are so many ways you can pamper yourself. Be it pedicure, manicure, hair highlights, or massages, you can go the extra mile in each type of treatment.

Top 15 Summer SPA Treatments

Beauty Pedicure

You definitely need a good pedicure to show off all of those pretty summer shoes. Go for a cute color like hot pink or coral to really look lovely. Do not be scared to go bold with bright or neon shades this summer. We all are loving all kinds of colors this year like never before. Pedicure treatment becomes a more fun and relaxing experience when you add additional spa treatments to it. While getting your pedicure done, ask for treatment too. Usually, they use special masks that add to the healthy-looking, glowy skin of your feet. Adding foot massage to that pedicure will help to relax the nerves, ease pain and reduce stress and angst.

Home Pedicure Spa:

Palmers foot creamFoot moisturizing socks will turn your dry heels into baby skin. Use them as many times as you please. Add some foot cream of your choice and allow these socks to nurture that cute foot of yours.

Full Manicure

The beach can do a number on your nails, which is why you need your manicure to be on point. If you want to keep it durable, check out acrylic or gel options for long-lasting strength and shine. I have been continuously getting done gelish mani-pedi treatment now for several years. I do not have any complaints, rather I compliment it because it has been protecting my nails from breaking and the paint from chipping or fading easily away.

Deep Tissue Massage

Summer is the ultimate time for relaxation, and nothing says kicking back like a nice deep tissue massage. Let your masseuse work out all the kinks built up in your muscles from the long winter. Also, it would only be more of a cure to your health and happiness, if you turn this treatment into a monthly retreat.

Hair highlights

Highlights are a must-have for beach-ready hair. Consider updating your locks with some buttery blonde highlights or maybe a splash of red for some real drama. However, stay away from bleaching if your hair is dark, as it is damaging to your natural hair. Make sure to visit your trusted hairstylist, since you cannot risk it. If you live in Dubai, I recommend you few salons with great hairstylists:

Tips and Toes – is one of the nicest salons. Call to book your appointment and ask for a Master Hairstylist. There are multiple branches available throughout Dubai, so it is quite convenient to visit them.

Dolls Beauty Salon – is my current go-to salon for my hair treatments and coloring. This beauty salon is located in Jumeirah Living Towers in World Trade Center. Here is their number just in case: +971502730557

Blowout – is another amazing salon, where I have tried their homemade fresh hair treatment and blowdry with styling. It employs friendly staff and they use chemical-free hair products.

Brightening Facial

Brightening facials can take your skin to the next level by removing the impurities and getting your face ready to debut at the beach. Do it at the beginning of summer to prepare for the season. Since there are tons of options, it could be confusing which procedure to choose. That is why it is highly advised to visit a dermatologist, who can advise you exactly what you need.

Bikini Wax

Shaving is for amateurs! If you want to make sure your bikini line is on point, you need to schedule a spa wax. And make sure you get your wax done 1-4 days prior to your pool or beach day.

Eyelash Extensions

Treat your eyes to some lovely extensions and enjoy tons of attention all summer long. Contrary to popular belief, eyelash extensions don’t actually hurt your eyelashes or eyes. They will save you time and effort when all you want to do is wake up and go out.

Cellulite Treatment

Consider zapping away your cellulite with any number of different treatments. Cellulite treatments vary from skincare to clinical to supplemental to homemade remedies.

Full Body Exfoliation

Since you are going to be showing off more skin during the summer months, why not make sure it’s exfoliated and looking its best with a full body treatment? There are so many amazing products that you can use at home. If you have acne problems on your back or other parts of your body try this organic coffee and orange zest body scrub twice a week. Acne problems or oily skin types can achieve the best results of this body scrub. On the other hand, for normal to dry skin types Argan oil, Vitamin E, and A containing face and body organic coffee scrub is the best remedy.

Chakra Alignment

Get your spirituality in tune and relax at the same time with spas that offer chakra alignments and treatments.

Oxygen Facial

These facials are favored by the beautiful people in Hollywood and infuse your skin with a rich oxygen blend of nutrients.

Salt Treatment

Salt can do amazing things for your skin. With this treatment, you’ll sit in a room full of tiny particles of salt and let it work its magic.

Eyebrow Wax

Getting your eyebrows waxed into shape is a quick and easy way to transform your face.

Hot Stone Massage

There’s nothing that says relaxation like a hot stone massage. This treatment will have you feeling relaxed and ready to hit the beach.

Body Wrap

For a full-body treatment that hydrates your skin and makes it luminous and summery, try a body wrap.
